    • How might we alter/innovate mainstream board structures/roles/committees to consciously move beyond corporate capitalist genetics in our board?

Hypothesis

If we forensically inquire into board structures from a post-capitalism standpoint, then we will discover new ways of organizing governance…

Metrics

Success: 

  • We make at least one substantial change to board structure
  • Board members feel a sense of lightness and liberation, that it isn’t necessarily that hard to do this.

Failure: 

  • A board dialogue that at minimum gets us onto the same page about corporate/ capitalistic genetics in board structures/functions.
  • A minority of board members who really don’t engage, or find the conversation important.
